Steam Hood

Steam Hood

As an accessory to hood type dishwashing machines there is a steam hood which is attached on the top edge of the machine with existing screws. For attachment to wall 2 brackets are enclosed.

With the machine's hood in open position the hot steam is evacuated via the back of the hood. The connection of the steam hood is designed so that the condensation water runs back into the machine's tank.

The steam hood is connected to the ventilation system with a hose or 160 mm diam. pipe.

If the ventilation duct is fitted with an evacuation fan this can be controlled by means of an automatic steering mechanism which is available as an option. The fan starts at the same time as the final rinse. After the final rinse the fan continues to operate for a certain time.
