The New Green WD-B

We are now launching the new WD-B Green. As the name suggests, and in line with Wexiödisk’s environmental profile, the existing WD-B model has been developed and environmentally-adapted.
In addition to its already excellent features, such as the double final rinse system, ergonomic design and, of course, perfect washing and drying results, the focus has now moved to lower water and energy consumption.

The water consumption is now a record low of 4.5 litres per minute. In other words, not as much water now needs to be heated to 85°C. As a result, this means lower energy consumption and even lower chemical consumption.

The following measures have been implemented:

Lower energy consumption

The flow of air in the machine has been changed so that as much heat as possible is kept inside the machine’s wash zones.
Thanks to the low water consumption, it has been possible to reduce the output of the booster heater to 12 kW.
The drying zone now only requires 6 kW of heat for perfect drying results.

Lower water consumption

The rinsing pipes and nozzles in the final rinse have been adjusted slightly to ensure an even better and more efficient rinse.
Greater flow in the recirculating final rinse.
The intermediate rinse only uses return water from the final rinse.
Another intermediate rinse has been introduced after the chemical wash tank.
